Peter Young

The theory and practice of Neurolinguistic psychotherapy.

Peter Young is a writer and editor of NLP and Management books, an innovative thinker and developer of NLP. A frequent speaker at NLP conferences, has written three books about NLP, and numerous articles for magazines including Rapport and ReSource.

His latest book, Understanding NLP: Principles and Practice, provides an underpinning structure for NLP, using McWhinney's Four Realities Model to show how two of the basic NLP models – perceptual positions, and Dilts' logical levels – are aspects of a more basic human paradigm.

He is currently working on rethinking the NLP model of language in the light of Hilary Lawson's Theory of Closure. This will provide a wholly new understanding of the relationship between language and reality, which will be especially relevant for improving the theory and practice of psychotherapy.
