World Aids Day 1996

As part of the commemorations for World Aids Day in 1996 I worked with a colleague to produce a series of postcards that would be distributed in the shopping areas of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and the Royal Borough of Kingston. A local firm called Spider Web produced the cards at cost and hundreds were distributed in December 1996.

An evaluation was to have followed the distribution but before it could be devised and implemented I was hospitalised with acute appendicitis for three weeks and when I returned to work in early March 1997 the Authority informed me that my contract would not be renewed. Consequently, work on this project was abandoned.

Below are the postcards that were produced. There is no copyright on these images.
